NEW BUILD FAMILY HOME

Our involvement began when this was a demolition site on a steep sided hill. We relished the chance to drive the project through space planning, lighting design, flooring, bathrooms, joinery, furniture, soft furnishings and most recently interior styling for this welcoming family home that flows effortlessly.

“Kate has an outstanding ability to work with colours and textures to create a beautiful living space. She quickly understood our taste, but also very ably introduced new design concepts that we wouldn’t otherwise have been brave enough to consider”

The design rationale for the interiors for this fabulous new build was to celebrate the light, airy and spacious rooms. Using pale neutrals, oatmeals and blue hues we introduced layered texture with wood, leather, antiqued brass and textiles from British design houses including favourite weaves, wool and plush velvets.

The exquisite Tom Howley kitchen sets the tone for the bespoke joinery throughout the utility, larder, laundry and boot room - designed to bring smart solutions to hectic family life.

The master bathroom is a restful, sanctuary away from the hubbub of the house. The elegant, structural bath in a soft, barely matt surface anchors the room. We mixed wall lighting, down-lights and commissioned a stunning hand-blown glass pendant to create a scheme that transcends times of day and function with relaxation. The made to measure cabinetry completes the space.
