Kate Malone is a boutique interior design consultancy specialising in unique residential interiors. The emphasis is on combining both aesthetic and practical elements of design with the attention to detail that carefully encapsulates the client’s spirit.

Kate is a member of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) who trained at the internationally acclaimed design school, KLC, at the Design Centre in Chelsea during 2003/2004.

For almost two decades I’ve had the privilege of working with wonderful clients to transform their homes. I approach each project as I did my former career in management consultancy, with energy and a questioning, intuitive mind.

I have a down to earth, realistic approach with vision and energy. I make the magic happen, either with my own team of phenomenal trades or with the professionals my clients bring to their project, or a mix of both.

I provide a flexible, bespoke interior design service, often blending antiques, contemporary design and custom-made pieces, along with high street and re-purposed finds. I am passionate about telling a family’s story through the space in which they live.

You’ll see from my services page that I work in a variety of different ways from complete house refurbishment to simply sourcing a few key pieces of furniture or soft furnishings.
